Proposals are now sought for exhibiting at the upcoming Exhibition 2017 at Kaipara Coast Sculpture Gardens.
Proposals will be considered that reflect current New Zealand art practice including object, installation, video, participatory and ephemeral works.
We will be specifically looking for works that are informed by the site near the Kaipara Harbour, north of Auckland.
Works will relate to, reflect and explore the natural beauty, the flora and fauna, threats to the
environment, the history of the land, colonisation and socio-political issues relating to this area, New Zealand and where New Zealand fits in the global arena.
This project is seeking work for installation from Friday 11th, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th November 2016 with the opening of the exhibition to the public on Saturday 3rd December 2016.
Exhibition runs until November 2017.
Site visits are available at 9.30am on Sunday 29th May and 9.30 am Sunday 12th June. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
to book a space.
Please submit your proposals by 5pm Monday 20th June and we will advise you of your acceptance or not by Tuesday 5th July.
You are welcome to submit more than one proposal.
I look forward to seeing your proposals and working with you to create a great exhibition.
